maker Daniel & Charles Houle, London 1869, the tapered cylindrical body with beak spout and presentation inscription 'Presented by Lieutenant Adjutant Frank Baines 1869', the hinged cover with crest and motto for the 18th Hussars, 21cm high, 1100g

- Good condition overall, some signs of wear consistent with age. Visible scratches, marks and areas of tarnishing to the flagon. Pitting visible (see photos)
- Diameter of circular top of flagon is 12.5cm, diameter of base is 15.7cm
