MID-20TH CENTURY ITALIAN SILVER MODEL OF H.M.S. VICTORY,
on a fixed wooden stand, the stand with small plaquette bearing the Victory’s launch date, 81cm high overall, 100cm extreme width

Note: H.M.S. Victory was a 104 gun first rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy and had a crew of 821 men. She is best known as Admiral Lord Nelson’s flag ship at the Battle of Trafalgar. The ship was ordered in 1758, it was laid down in 1759 and launched in 1765 and is an iconic vessel in British naval history. This solid silver model would grace any maritime, or indeed, any Collection.

 

A condition report is offered as an indication of any issues visible to the naked eye. As none of our staff is a professional conservator or restorer, buyers must satisfy themselves in respect of condition.
