19TH CENTURY SUNDERLAND LUSTRE MUG AND TWO JUGS each printed and painted with 'A West View of the Cast Iron Bridge over the River Weir', opposing poem 'The Sailor's Tear' to the mug, the opposing verse to one of the jugs reading ''Thou noble bark of brightest fame/That bear'st proud England's honoured name/Right welcome home once more!/Welcome thou gallant little sail/In England's name I bid thee hail/And welcome to her shore', the remaining jug with pink lustre, and the opposing verse reading 'The Loss of Gold is Much/The Loss of Time is More/But Losing Christ is Such a Loss/A! No Man Can Restore', 10.5cm high, 12.5cm high and 12.5cm high respectively
