Whisky: A Kaleidoscopic Spectrum of Spirit

  Lot 58

ABERLOUR 1989 MILLENNIUM EDITION

ABERLOUR 1989 MILLENNIUM EDITION

Single malt.

Named after the small Speyside town in which it resides, Aberlour distillery has cultivated a dedicated following, particularly in France where it is frequently the top selling single malt. The spirit it produces ages extremely well in Sherry casks and has a distinctive note of blackcurrant.

Although it boasts an extensive core range, the expression it is perhaps best known for is the consistently excellent small batch A’Bunadh.

These 1989 vintage Aberlours were drawn from a series of casks which members of the public could reserve prior to their bottling in time for the Millennium celebrations. These are dangerously drinkable whiskies that, in our opinion, stand head and shoulders above the standard 10 and 12 year olds.

Bottle number: 124 / 360

40% ABV / 70cl
