Gordy Livingstone lives and works in Glasgow, Scotland. He has a BA in Visual Art from Leeds Metropolitan University and an MA in Fine Art from Duncan of Jordanstone in Dundee. Primarily a painter, Gordy describes his colourful work as "hypnagogic, somewhere between the imagined and the experienced." Characterised by his bold use of colour and contrasting elements, Gordy's work occupies a playful space where manmade and nature collide, melding the ordinary with the out-of-the-ordinary into painterly abstractions.
