Condition Report

Ex-Libris Mary Jane Spedding, who has inscribed name and date to title pages, as well, as transcribing pub. dates in pencil. 


Books bear label for Charles Thurnam, binder, circulating library, Carlisle. 


Boards display creases, some fading and discolouration, particularly 12. Unevenness to covering with some peeling, general scuffs to corners and edges. Foxing present but sporadic. Majority of plates appear clean, occasionally displaying spotting and browning, as well as small internal flecks; appears and 'feels' complete although has not been fully collated; some waviness to pages; additional images illustrative of general condition available.
