formed by bars interspaced by bezel set diamonds, totalling approximately 0.60 carats, 18.5cm long, in eighteen carat gold, by Eric Smith of Glasgow, 12.9g

It should not be assumed that any diamond or coloured gem is untreated or is natural, unless accompanied by a gemmological laboratory certificate (which would be mentioned in the description).
