19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY CHEST ON CHEST,
the upper section fitted with two short over three long drawers, above three further long drawers and on splayed bracket feet, 114cm wide

Condition Report
Overall good to fair, the upper moulding of the bottom chest has been replaced and crudely repainted; there is a chip to top left corner of cornice as well as end of fretting on right side appears replaced; some breaks to drawer mouldings, marks, scuffs and further usual wear and tear throughout; drawers run smoothly; some vertical splits to feet due to age and small chips around feet and apron, further splits to sides, replaced sections, side panels are in fact a stained pine or similar wood rather than mahogany; overall useable as is but would benefit from attention and restoration, no visible signs of worm;
chest lifts off, upper: height 98cm, 113.5 wide, 55cm deep
lower: 89cm high, 109cm wide, 53cm deep
