comprising teapot and cover, eight tea bowls and saucers, four teacups and saucers, a slop bowl, a cream jug, and a tea cannister, each decorated in underglaze blue with Chinoiserie landscapes within gilt borders, the teapot 14cm high

Condition Report

Condition of the tea service is generally good. Evidence of previous restoration to the collar of the tea cannister, and to the rim of one saucer, which has two hairlines. Some light surface wear throughout in keeping with age and use, including to gilted areas. Some imperfections in the glaze throughout, per original manufacturing. Some residue to the saucers (possibly blutac; possibly paint to one saucer). Images available.
