Printed for A. Millar, W. Law, and R. Cater 1790, tan leather and marbled calf boards with tooled gilt borders, illustrated and with pull out maps, Lord Belhaven & Stenton 1895 label to cover interior, formerly owned by Lieutenant General Frederick William Hamilton of the Brigade of Guards with name inscribed to interior of Volume I, housed in a glazed mahogany wall mounting cabinet, 55.5cm high

Additional images available; Vol. 1: 20 plates inc. frontispiece, 2 maps; Vol. 2: 22 plates, 2 maps; 11 plates, 5 maps; Vol. 4: 27 plates, 3 maps; Scuffs, scrapes, mottling and marks to exteriors; foxing to pages, varying extents, at times pronounced, at others fairly clean; maps have been folded for a long time and so display clear folds as well as creases where they have been folded incorrectly over the years, generally ok, one with a noticeable tear, others have smaller tears, some no tears at all, some more heavily foxed than others, no visible patches; no particular odours such as tobacco.
