SCOTTISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP GOLD MEDAL 1928/29,
awarded to Robert Ireland of Rangers F.C., the obverse with central Glasgow crest the border inscribed 'Scottish League Championship, 1928-29', the reverse inscribed 'R. Ireland', 39mm high including bale, maker V&S, in nine carat gold, 23g, in original fitted case, the hinged cover inscribed 'The Rangers F.C.'

Note: The 1928–29 Scottish Division One season of Association football was won by Rangers by sixteen points over nearest rival Celtic. This medal was awarded to Robert Ireland, who helped Rangers to their 17th league title, and third of five consecutive titles under legendary manager Bill Struth.
