Auctioneer at McTear’s, Natasha Raskin Sharp’s interest in the arts was sparked from a young age. Born in 1986 in Glasgow in to a family of art lovers and collectors, a degree in the History of Art and French at Glasgow University cemented a love for all things aesthetically pleasing. Paintings, sculpture and beautifully-crafted bespoke jewellery are all right up Natasha’s street, so it’s no surprise that her enthusiasm for her role on the rostrum shines through.
Natasha will be a familiar face to viewers of BBC daytime favourites such as Bargain Hunt, The Antiques Road Trip, Flog It! & For What It’s Worth. We’re pleased to say that it was here at McTear’s that Natasha ‘cut her teeth’.
Outside the world of antiques and collectables, Natasha can be seen regularly contributing to The One Show and can be heard hosting her own music programme on BBC Radio Scotland every Thursday night.
These are exciting times for Natasha and all of us here at McTear's wish her well!
