Since 1983 the Scotch Malt Whisky Society has offered members access to unique bottling from single casks of whisky. In recent years these expressions of whisky from Scotland and further afield have gained a wider following in the collecting world, and are now increasingly sought after.
It is with great excitement that we offer in the August 27th auction a selection of whiskies from the first cask bottled from iconic distilleries. The list includes S.M.W.S. 21.1 Glenglassaugh (Lot 762), S.M.W.S. 41.1 Dailuaine (Lot 763), S.M.W.S. 125.1 Glenmorangie (Lot 867), and S.M.W.S. 1.1 Glenfarclas, the fabled first bottling (Lot 760).
