_____________

The final auction this year of Rare & Collectable Whisky takes place on Friday 15 December at McTear's in Glasgow.

Specialist Graeme Maxwell tells us about the auction, his favourite picks and some tips for buyers.

Pick a favourite lot in this sale
One of my favourite lots has to be the Talisker 1952 - lot 1005. Very rarely do Talisker bottlings of this vintage come to market, but when they do, they always attract plenty of interest, which comes as no surprise as the liquid inside is sensational.
Estimate: £800-£1000

In the final of this year's six weekly Rare and Collectable whisky auctions, there are bottles for collectors and enthusiasts alike to feast their eyes upon. From the Black Bowmore 1964, to Macallan aged 10 years, to a Strathisla 1937, it’s sure to attract attention from bidders at home and abroad.
