Going for Gold

With the recent horse racing Gold Cup at Cheltenham taking over everyone’s televisions, McTear’s saw success in the gold lots in the Jewellery Auction of 14 March.

Three gold lots in particular saw bidders from across the world competing for chains, rings and other items.  

Lot 519, a single gold chain sold for a hammer price of £340.

Lot 672, a group of four gold chains sold for a hammer price of £1000.

Lot 679, a mixed group of gold jewellery sold for a hammer price of £1050.
