A Scottish Cup Legend

Willie Nicholson of Rangers F.C. was awarded this smashing Scottish Cup medal in 1934, after bagging a brace in the final to help secure victory for the Boys in Blue!

Nicholson started his senior career with Queen's Park, before signing for Rangers F.C. in 1929. He would go on to make 70 appearances for Rangers, winning the League with the club three times, and lifting the Scottish Cup once, for which this medal was awarded. Nicholson netted two of the five Rangers goals in the Cup final, as the Gers lifted the Cup with a triumphant 5-0 win over St Mirren F.C. at Hampden Park.

Not one to be missed, this fantastic medal will go under the hammer The Sporting Medals & Trophies Auction on 26 February. Featuring at lot 1105, this is estimated at £1,500- £2,000.
