* Jilli Blackwood (Scottish b. 1965)

Jilli Blackwood is an abstract expressionist fibre artist, creating large scale wall art through a body of fabric: silks, wools, linens and cottons, in embroidery and weaving. Sustainability is also a key aspect of Jilli’s work—she states that no fibre is wasted in the studio, everything is recycled and re-imagined. Her artworks are in the collection of a number of institutions, including The National Museum Scotland, Edinburgh, Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, Glasgow, and the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.
