Starchild
McTear's was delighted to hold this live auction for the charity Starchild. They plan to build the Sunflower Sanctuary in memory of co-founder, Rony Bridges.
This auction will help to continue the good work Starchild do at that school they built in Africa. However, when they first opened the school, they soon discovered those with autism and disabilities are not accepted and are not being educated. With the best will in the world, inclusion is not possible for most of these children. It has, therefore, become apparent that they would like to provide a holistic centre where these children and families can feel safe and supported, to grow and develop skills and find love, acceptance, and hope.
