COLLECTION OF LATE VICTORIAN AND EDWARDIAN MOURNING AND OTHER DRESS to include a black three-quarter length cape highly embellished with embroidery, fringing and lace; together with a black dolman mantle cape from Ogg & Hodge, Main Street, Anderston, Glasgow, with crepe detail, fringed hems and frogging to waist at back, a beaded black collar with beautiful jet bead detailing, crepe detailing around neck and shoulders, a black silk bodice by Campbell & Co, 65 George St, Edinburgh, a long line black silk coat with narrow waist and full skirt, high, stiff collar, fringed and with ribbon detail and quilted lining, a black riding habit of heavy black silk skirt with thick pleats and heavy cotton underskirt, with matching fitted short quilted jacket with white trim at high collar and jet beads, a black boned bodice with black fringes and white lace trim (looks to have been added later) and a black silk undershirt with long lace sleeves. This lots also includes chiffon camisol top, along with toile for a jacket and skirt (incomplete) and a good lot of trimmings including lace, crepe fringes, maribou feathers, strips of fur, a satin reticule etc
