BELIEVED EDO PERIOD (1603-1868)

the curved steel blade to copper mount, the iron tsuba inlaid in copper, silver and silver gilt, with lacquered simulated-cloth over shagreen grip, with brass mounts, copper pommel, housed in original lacquered scabbard

nibbles and battle scars to blade, including one more noticeable of approx. 1cm
Splits and wear to fish skin, though grip stable. Plug firm and do not want to force, so unable to reveal tang.
Wear and some small losses to scabbard.
