GROUP OF WWI MEDALS AWARDED TO 4487 B. HOUSTON the earliest awarded to the soldier when he was a Private, up to Lance Corporal, comprising the India 1895 medal with Tirah 1897-98 and Punjab Frontier 1897-98 bars, the South Africa medal with Cape Colony, Suoth Africa 1902, Transvaal, and Orange Free State bars, the 1914 Star with 5th Aug - 22nd Nov. 1914 bar, all inscribed to Pte. B. Houston, along with the War Medal 1914-1918 and the Civilisation Medal 1914-1919, both inscribed for Acting Corporal B. Houston, and Long Service And Good Conduct medal inscribed for Lance Corporal B. Houston, all on ribbons (6)
