VICTORIAN SILVER THREE PIECE TEA SERVICE
JOHN HARRISON & CO, SHEFFIELD 1860

the teapot of melon form with cast bird finial to the cover, all decorated with panels of flowers against further bright cut detail and raised on case scrolled feet, the teapot with presentation inscription Presented to Mr. John Fowler when about to leave Cluny at a Public Entertainment by his Friends to mark the Universal Respect and Esteem won by his late Father and Brother and Himself since commencing Business at Sauchen in 1806 24th April 1862
