RARE AND IMPRESSIVE TAXIDERMY CROMIE RED STAG HEAD BY ROWLAND WARD,
Cervus elaphus (red deer), displaying the swept back antler formation unique to this sub-species which resides solely on the Isle of Jura, on carved wooden shield mount bearing Rowland Ward Piccadilly London paper label to reverse, 77cm high, 43cm wide, 55cm deep

Shot by a Keith Pyeman, Inver Jura, Rocky Hill, Sept. 19th 1951, 10 St. 10 Lbs., as detailed to plaque.

Provenance: a private Jura family by inheritance; the previous generation of this family served the island as Head Stalker.
