JAQUES OF LONDON, STAUNTON PATTERN CHESS SET
LATE 19TH / EARLY 20TH CENTURY

complete thirty-two piece set in boxwood and ebony, both kings stamped JAQUES LONDON, one rook and one knight in each colour with crown top stamp, in green baize lined mahogany box with hinged cover and internal divider

kings 10.3cm high, pawns 5.2cm high

Condition overall is good/fair - some chips present over various pieces, general surface wear also, the pieces are weighted, the box is in good/fair condition also with some wear and tear present, detailed in the additional images now available
