Note: As per label, an Iron Cross could be field converted to Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross for one of either two purposes, one, for a Knight's Cross holder who did not want to wear their orginal into battle, and two, a comanding officer who wanted to make a field award, later to be confirmed.
