Note: David Winfield Was born in London and now lives in London and in North Yorkshire. He studied at the London School of Printing and then the Royal College of Art having won the David Murray Scholarship. Further awards include the Giles Bequest Purchase Prize at the V&A and The Lord Mayor of London's Art Award. He has taught at York, Hull and Maidstone Art Colleges and at Goldsmiths. He is married to the painter Ann Kilvington.
