Note: Tom Paterson was a Glasgow artist and worked in the city and in Ayrshire. His address is recorded in RSA exhibiting records as 196, St Vincent Street, Glasgow and he exhibited there (RSA) and at the Royal Glasgow Institute. Tom Paterson usually worked in watercolours, often of children playing on a beach.
