Produced to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Maggie Wareham was later commissioned by Heal's Department Store to produce a similar 'Royal Charger' for the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana in 1981; the owner Oliver Heal was so taken by it he donated it to the Museum of Childhood and is now part of the Young V&A wider collection, see accession no. MISC.475-1981; her work has also featured in the collection of the British Toymakers' Guild and was displayed at Polka Children's Theatre in Wimbledon
