PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY CONTINENTAL FIGURES,
of a young man and woman, both holding a garland of flowers, modelled on naturalistic bases, no marks, 41.5cm high

Condition Report


  • Male figure in fair to good overall condition. Signs of wear consistent with age. Crack across base. Marks to legs of figure. Some losses to paint work. One hand has been visibly repaired/repainted and is cracked. Some small chips/losses to figure and flowers. 

  • Female figure in fair to good overall condition. Some wear throughout including areas of loss to paint. Damage to hand and cuff of figure. Some very minor losses to flowers. Some poor repainting to reverse of figure.
