Jetpack Dinosaur is an artist, illustrator and printmaker based in North East Scotland. Strong lines and detail orientated technical drawings form the body of Chris’s work, with notable sources of influence including traditional Japanese woodblock printing, the Scottish landscape, and skateboarding. Powered by an imaginative mind for world building, Chris’s drawings often encapsulate moments of calm quiet and stillness, whether taking organic forms like floating islands and bonsai gardens, or more constructed elements like kit-bashed shopfronts. As well as lurking inside sketchbooks, Chris has worked as a facilitator delivering creative workshops for all ages, and regularly produces graphic design visuals for a range of local groups and services including the skate shop and skateboarding community, and local music events.
