Lucy Delano is a conceptual artist living and working in Brighton UK. Usually from within a fundamentally minimalist framework of ordered components, a monochrome palette, and micro-managed visual order, she makes ideas-based work designed to communicate or critique. It is always the concept which is the driving force and starting point of a piece. Her work has something to say and her craft is finding the relevant materials and media through which to say it.
