PAIR OF JAPANESE SATSUMA MOONFLASKS,
Meiji Period (1868-1912), later converted to lamps, decorated in enamels with butterflies amongst chrysanthemum blooms, with further gilt highlighted floral detail to necks and bases, both bearing old paper labels to bases but otherwise unmarked, 45.8cm high excluding fitments and shades (2)

Condition Report
Both tightly crazed, one with underglaze firing crack to joint of neck and shoulder, some underglaze staining and glaze inclusions, wear to the tops where lamp fixtures have been applied, some light rubbing to decoration, no other visible issues to note
