Jamie Eade developed an interest in art from a young age and studied it through to A level, even gaining an A*! After this, although he kept his art as a hobby, he pursued a quite different career in the construction industry. Jamie joined the Crouch End Studios several years ago and was encouraged by fellow artists to keep going. It was only after selling his Artists' Support Pledge coloured pencil drawings in a matter of minutes and gaining London gallery representation, that he realised, perhaps, that his work as an artist should form a bigger part of his life. He is inspired by everyday objects (such as his own pencils) and, particularly, how light reflects off different materials and the capturing of this within his work. Jamie is interested in developing his craft and taking advantage of opportunities as they come this way. He is happy to consider commissions.
