FRENCH 1866-PATTERN CHASSEPOT BAYONET,
stamped marks to ricasso, also with maker's mark and dated '1869' to blade edge, further stamped and numbered crossguard, ribbed brass grip, numbered steel scabbard, 71cm overall

Serial numbers do not match; scabbard with some minor knocks but more general surface wear and dirt; blade very slightly knocked to the right when viewed straight down, a lot of old grease as well as some small nibbles and usual wear; additional images available
