Note: An interesting collection of letters between Joy and David in 1950s Scotland as they plan their future life together. This unique insight into their lives goes back and forward from Dundee and Perth where Joy lived and worked and David in Fontainebleau, France where he was attached to Nato Headquarters. The letters endure as did their relationship which saw them married with two children and four grandchildren. It is a remarkable insight into post-war Scottish life and society, now changed forever.
