LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH LACQUERED ‘COFFRE A LIQUEUR’,
the hinged and folding cover enclosing a removable tray with giltmetal handle, with four square moulded clear glass decanters and stoppers, sixteen stemmed glasses, the case outlined in brass and with initialled cartouche, on bun feet, 26cm high

Condition Report
The decanters and 13 of the glasses are without damage and with light surface wear as per use. Two of the glasses have minor nibbles to rims and one has a hairline crack.
Key and lock period, though bottom of lock mechanism appears a replacement, in working order.
The box shows areas of woodworm (noticeable to the back, towards base on the front, and base). Split to the wood on the front right, also area of restoration. Minor losses to brass banding. Possible restoration to feet, though sits flush.
