the obverse with central enamel crest bordered by inscription GLASGOW CHARITY CUP WON BY RANGERS F.C., the reverse inscribed 12th May 1928 J. BUCHANAN, in nine carat gold, in original fitted case

Note: Jock Buchanan was a versatile Scottish player, most famously associated with St. Mirren, Morton and Rangers. He famously led the attack in Morton's shock 1-0 1922 Scottish Cup victory over Rangers. He would spend four seasons at Rangers between 1927/31 and helped them to this Charity Cup when they defeated Queen's Park 3-1.
