Note: Deirdre McCrimmon graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art in 1992. She worked for ten years as a freelance scenic artist for Scottish Opera, The Citizens Theatre and various Scottish television companies in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Deirdre now continues with her own art practice and teaching in the Highlands of Scotland. She specialises in the portrait and figure and her work has a strong psychological and meditative quality
