Note: Painter and teacher, born in Aberdeen. He was married to the painter Ellen Malcolm. After education at Robert Gordon’s College in Aberdeen Cameron attended Gray’s School of Art there, 1935–40, his teachers including D M Sutherland. He went on to teach at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, in Dundee. His work, which shows a fine knowledge of anatomy, is in several Scottish collections, including Aberdeen Art Gallery. Lived in Invergowrie, Perthshire.
