20TH CENTURY BURMESE KALAGA,
elaborately embroidered and with five padded panels depicting elephants, birds and dancers, within round, rectangular and arched borders, 127cm x 171cm

Condition Report

The embroidery is missing some of the stones around the borders, corners and central decoration. A few minor loose threads in the central decoration, and one around the border. No discernible stains, holes or weaknesses in the fabric. A couple threads and the fabric border possibly not original, stitched to reinforce and preserve the embroidery. Images available.
