INTERESTING 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY AND BRASS CAMPAIGN WASHSTAND of oval form with three tiers supported by turned brass rails, the galleried upper tier with aperture for a wash basin, inset retailers ivorine plaquette for York House, Regent Street, London, on brass bun style feet, 63cm wide This form of collapsible washstand would be seen in military outfitters advertisments from the second half of the 19th Century, including Allen's, 36 West Strand and Hill & Millard, 7 Duncannon Street, London
