ATTRACTIVE MAHOGANY SETTEE
made by J.S. Henry to a design of George M.Ellwood, comprising a pair of chairs that hinge together to form a settee, each with high backs with central upholstered panel flanked by inlaid stylised flowerheads in copper, pewter and pear wood, with similarly upholstered platform arm rests and seats, on square tapered legs joined by ‘H’ stretchers, stamped ‘J.S. Henry’

Condition Report
- Each chair relatively sturdy and structurally sound, both frames slightly loose
- Both top rails missing two screws
- Upholstery not original
- Damage to all four flower heads (see photos)
- Frame scuffed to legs and scratched, some scratches and scuffing to chair edges and sides
- Scuff to one arm rest
- Scratches to inner uprights from hinge
