of Rococo design, the white enamel dial set with Roman and Arabic numerals, gilt jewelling, the drum head over a bombe body with central hand painted enamel panel and mother of pearl backing, pierced and cast with scrolls and foliage, on four paw feet

Has lost the rear cover so the movement is loose, some further dents around the casing and body; feet have been knocked so stands at a slight angle and displays a wobble on a flat surface, some further small breaks including to top cast detail and some connections between the lower 'apron' and the body in the pierced sections; small holes to both sides of the upper section; movement itself not running, feels overwound; fractures to the abalone also; additional images available
