MILITARY INTEREST - TWO MEDAL GROUPS RELATING TO THE REID FAMILY
MEDAL GROUP AWARDED TO J. REID,
comprising a East & West Africa medal with Benin 1897 clasp, engraved Sgt. H.M.S. St. George; the Great War for Civilisation and 1914-18 medals, engraved 25071 A. SJT. ...R.A.M.C.; along with a two WWI service medals awarded to his brother, L-6710 DVR W. Reid. R.A.; two double sided photograph pendants, each with side of gentleman in uniform and civilian dress, said to be both the Reid brothers; an early 20th century silver cased pocket watch with Chester marks, said to have been gifted to one of the brothers by a German soldier; a Rifles cap badge; and an unmarked Defence medal
