Note: Printed at The Glasgow School of Art with permission of his estate. Wall hanging designed by Robert Stewart in postwar Britain. He produced paintings, ceramics and murals but it is his textiles that have been most influential. He won many awards and became head of printed textile department at The Glasgow School of Art in 1949 where he worked for 35 years.
