including an Air Spun compact designed by Rene Lalique with matching powder box, a musical bell compact, two ‘magnifying glass’ vanities, a Duette vanity and two others and nine further compacts (16)

As none of our staff is a professional conservator or restorer, buyers must satisfy themselves in respect of condition. The condition report does not form part of any contract between McTear's and the buyer, and all lots are offered "as is" in accordance with our Terms of Business available on our website.

Condition Report

- Condition of the compacts varies across the lot. Most in fair condition. Some signs of wear visible throughout, including scratches and marks. Not all compacts close flush. Mirrors cracked/damaged to a number of the compacts. Hand mirror compact quite worn and discoloured. Some other small damages/losses (see photos) 

- Additional photographs added showing front, interior and reverse of compacts
