One lid fits well in one decanter, neither lid fits tightly in the other, both terminate somewhat abruptly, whether ground down after damage is possible but both tops are gilded, one lid stopper particularly ground down, one with old polished chip to rim, possibly from manufacture, fritting to both rims, both with surface scratches and bubble inclusions, other manufacturing imperfections, rubbing to gilt and enamelled decoration, the portraits are transfer printed, further general wear
