* JAMES STUART PARK (SCOTTISH 1862 - 1933), PINK AND WHITE ROSES oil on canvas, signed 73cm x 59cm Framed Label verso: 'James Stuart Park - 1862 - 1933. Born in Kidderminster, of Ayrshire parents. Studied Glasgow School of Art and in Paris. Painted figure subjects and portraits but best known as flower painter. Lived in Glasgow 1883 and Elmslie, Kilmarnock 1904. He exhibited most major British galleries including the R.S.A., the R.A., and the Glasgow Art Gallery.
