Jo Hudson is drawn to the ironic, the silly, the surreal and the strange and this often shows up in her work. She also uses Collage as an outlet for emotions, moods and feelings. She sources imagery from books and magazines from all eras, although does have a particular fondness for vintage materials. She has been making collage since 2019 and whilst having no formal training she has been helped and inspired by the Collage community. She lives in rural Somerset, dividing her time between Collage and a full time job in retail. Jo was the recipient of an award from the Kanyer Art Collection in the USA for her mini Collage diary “States of Emotion” in 2021. Instagram: jo_collage
