- Each is contained in protective plastic cover
- Front and back cover present and attached for each of the four
- Carter and Mace Vol 1 (1923): in fair to good, signs of wear consistent with age, some yellow age marks to pages, personal message to front page dating from 1923
- Carter and Mace Vol 1 (1930) and Vol 2: in fair to good condition, signs of wear consistent with age, some yellow age marks to vol 1
- Egypt and its Monuments by R Hichens: in fair to good condition, page ages worn, gilt and colour on cover in good condition, a few minor marks to pages but pages good overall
